Trinity protocol governance can make decisions on collateral onboarding and protocol fee levels.

Governance Scope

Governance has the ability to set the following parameters:

Protocol Fees

• set borrow fee rate

• set fee distribution: governance controls the method and rate at which fees are distributed to sTRI

Collateral onboarding & offboarding

• add new collateral type with mint cap

• adjust mint caps for existing collaterals

• remove collateral type

Redemptions Mode

• turn on redemptions with base fee

• turn on redemptions without base fee

• turn off redemptions

Recovery Mode

• whitelist redeeming parties

Contract Upgrades

• upgrade protocol contracts in case a bug is found, or a new version is released
