# Trinity protocol

The **Trinity** protocol enables users to borrow against yield-bearing collateral, such as tokenized T-Bills.\

Users mint **TRI**, a highly liquid dollar-based token, against their deposited collateral. TRI can be used to generate leveraged T-Bill yields, provide liquidity on secondary markets, and/or capture Trinity protocol fees through staked TRI (sTRI).

* Finalizing the protocol’s ongoing audit to ensure security and reliability
* Onboarding a select group of initial users
* Increasing adoption of TRI across DeFi and gradually opening Trinity to more users<br>
